Add another T-X to the kitty

Just wanted to say that I finally brought her home yesterday afternoon but not without a BIG THANKS to Marty Coe and all the incredibly friendly staff at Tims Ford Powersports in Winchester, Tn.

You won't find a better dealer anywhere so if you're located in or close to Tennessee, give them a call or go online at http://timsfordpowersports.com/.

They have a huge inventory in stock!! Hell, you can even make a field trip out of it and visit the Jack Daniels distillery...it's right down the road!

Pictures just don't hardly do it justice, although I attached a couple. The X models are very impressive machines to say the least. Cannot wait to get some seat time!!

I sure have enjoyed reading all the threads about both these machines and look forward to exchanging information down the road with you guys. This website is fantastic!

Per the picts, I have already installed the gps holder for my Garmin 76Csx and the RE block-offs from Jerry. Those block-offs really make the lines of the X clean and complete. Trash the OPAS...

I definately plan on modding, but will break it in and install the stage 1 after break-in and everything in the kit becomes available.

All in all, I'm looking forward to years of riding to come and definately hanging out at this site. The information exchanging here is top notch!

    Later on, Jon Clark

    looks good Jon

I may be doing some business with those guys soon

I think you need to move the winch forward some on the trailer and ask them if they have a set of Aluminum wheels for the trailer if not I may have or can order you a set

I hope we can get together and ride when it warms up

Trailer is the Elite single place. It's a pretty long trailer and well over 12' in length, but perfectly balanced. I drove 80 plus all the way home and it didn't feel like I was towing anything.

Sure thing on the riding!! When it get's warmer, pm me and we will get together.

I chose to stay with the 12" radial tire option to keep the ski and trailer as low as I can, but agree the 13" mag wheel tire option looks nice.

As far as moving the winch closer, it looks like I can't as the ski would be getting dangerously close to hitting the frame structure of the trailer. See attached picture.

One thing's for sure is that these Tritons, although really nice, are very long. I measured it and with the ski, it's approx. 18' in length...Jon
