Tested a prop for the X today

Took out the RXP-X with a prop that Jawz sent me ˝ tank of gas 73.6 GPS @ 8180rpms. I need to change out the wear ring. I notice that it had a deep gash in it so I hope to pull the RPMs off the limiter and hit 74 with the stock intake.

No other mods than the grate. The prop started as a 15\20 but do not know the #'s. Jeff has been working and found a sweet sopt in these props. He is running one on his X and I t hink he is getting little over 74

In Riva's stage one kit they use the wedge. I had one on my 04 but did not like the way the ski ride. I think with out the wedge the acceleration will be better. This prop pulls good and gave it more legs on topend. I wish I could go side by side with a sotck X and realy see. I have a 13/18 Skat but I am swapping that with Jim for a 15/18. so I have no idea what a skt prop would do for acceleration but from running one on my 04 it does hook up better but slower on topend

jawz & Jrsrxp - Jrsrxp, you say that you are getting close to 74 w/ the prop jawz sent you on a stock intake...did you mean stock intake grate? You also mentioned that you have modified the grate but other than that it's stock and with that pitched prop you're seeing close to 74. Yet jawz you mentioned in reply to my post about the 15/22 that with the stock venturi you won't see those same numbers. What's the difference since Jrsrxp also has the stock venturi yet he's seeing those numbers with a prop closer to the 15/22 than the stock pitch?
