    Rxp fuel mileage

My son and I covered 84.5 miles yesterday with out hitting the reserve buzzer.

We never went over 35 miles per hour. I had 7 xtra gallons of gas and did not even use what was in the tank. We kept the rpms under 5000.

At that pace my range to empty would have been 103 miles. I never thought I would be happy to get 6.5 miles per gallon.

One time I did a test at WOT, and I had the buzzer going after only one hour of riding!

Going slow was not that bad. We saw lots of stuff we would have normally blown by.

The way the commercial truck business is in Central Florida I can dig staying on the river all day burning 13 gallons of gas.

Makes sense cause you would have covered almost 70 miles.

That seems about right. One hour of WOT running is about 65 to 70 miles of range.

I think I read approx 15.5 gallons an hour with the stock injectors at WOT. Any hour would seem about right.
