    Can I vent?

There is a handful of things I can't do myself! Cranks are one of them so I go to the best!! I went to install my crank and 2 bearings are installed back wards my c clip is missing and I think a spacer is gone? and if they weren't local I'd be out weeks and shipping ! not that the original deal went well but I was happy with the appearance of the unit however it doesn't fit whats wrong with people? I'm so glad I can do 9o percent of everything myself! Thanks for the vent Z

I guess that nobody is perfect and everybody makes mistakes but that doesn't make you feel any better.

Did they take care of the issue?

I feel your pain Z. I PAID someone to install my crank seals backwards when I had the conversion done. Only to fix it my self for gaskets and a new set of seals. Thank god I caught it before I holed a brand new piston...

Man...I just HATE hearing stories like this.
Be sure to talk with the owner(s) and express your dissapointment. I'll bet he's unaware there is an issue with one of his employees and he needs to know it.
We all make mistakes but it does suck when the mistake happens to you.
I've even had another very reputable company true and weld a crank 90 degrees out of phase...it happens, BUT damn...
I sure hope this was an isolated event.

Thanks! another good source said the same! I hate to whine, but I swear I am a magnet for this crap, the good side is that is why I learned to do my own stuff! Z
