    How is this possible??

I recently read of a few forum members buying the 2006-07 GPR and achieving speed #s in the 70-75 mph out of the crate.
I bought a low hour 03 and seriously doubt it's getting anywhere near those speeds. I know the later 1300 w/o PVs have @ 5hp more than the PV motors.
Everthing else seems to be the same between the 2 skis (hull design, weight, etc...).
Are there any members out there obtaining 70-75 mph with the 2003 out of the crate??
    Thanks,

    jp

    Thanks guys.
Maybe there's more to the 2006-07 story then I know; possibly rear end set-up???

Ps. maybe mine is unusually slow due to the ride plate and grate (Shred & Worx grate).

Out of the crate on 2 bars fuel my 03 was low 64, the 06 was low 66 on gps. ross is right on. i come across so many gpr owners that believe the dreamo. I tell them the stock speedo is off and they dont believe it.

I let a guy with a stock 06 rxp use my gps. his dreamo was reading 70( where they top out). he got a 68.7. i dont know how much fuel he had, but the # was impressive for a stock ski.

    GPS doesn't lie....

Maybe with a remote control and servos for the steering and throttle you could have a riderless out of the crater hit 70!
