    valve train upgrade

    what are are some other valve train options? rr valve train is light weight retainers and shims, do they use the stock springs?

    There are a couple of options.

    The Riva valve train upgrade consists of higher rate valve springs, titanium retainers and shims that go under the springs.

    Another option is the Rotax Racing aluminum retainers and shims that go under the springs. You use the stock springs. You can't rev this option as high as you can the Riva valvetrain upgrade.
    Also, Rotax Racing recommends checking/replacing the aluminum retainers every 25 hours.
