    Which head should I fit?

    O.K
    It looks like I need to throw some money at my ski to wake it up.
    It's going to have: efi controller, 3 degree keyway, freeflow, power filter, 13/19 and heads.
    It's a 04, I will be using a 05 head gasket,and I want it to run on 92 octane (US)
    Do I go with R&D's stage 1 variable chamber head kit?
    OR The R&D/Riva 45cc across all cyls head?
    Getting a oem milled is going to be a pain,so this is my last option, but I like the thought of a bigger chamber on #3, hence the R&D stage1.

    They dont have the varible chamber kits anymore.

    Some people do exchanges on the OEM heads to keep downtime at a min. Like Rich said, the variable chambers aren't available anymore so they have to go to Lowell for machining anyway. Some tuners have told me the OEM offers a little better cooling characteristics due to the joined water jacket, also cylinder stabilization. Either way there are used of each that might me a good consideration too.

    So it liiks like a oem machine job-which is a pain for me over here in the UK.
    Anybody got a machined oem for sale????

    Theres nothing stopping you from getting a new oem head and then having it machined.. I think jim offers this.

    Got the head sorted now.
    Spoke yesterday to some guy called NICOLAS RIUS whoever that is!! seems to know his chit though!
    Hes done me a deal on oem, and is getting his engine guy to machine it for me!
