    06 RXP RPM's - What's your top RPM?

With a full tank I ran 72.9MPH GPS at 8220 under bad conditions (low tide and high winds). Couldn't do anymore runs because of conditions and this was last weekend.

Repitched the prop and was running 69.5MPH GPS at 8100RPM's today with water conditions much better.

The prop has been repitched back to its previous setting and will try first thing tomorrow morning.

If you have an 06 RXP, what RPM's were you turning when you got your best MPH GPS reading?

    Ramnj,
Are you using a stock Tach? My digital stock tach reads only in increments of 50? Are the 06 different?

Yes. The stock tach on the 06 RXP reads in 20 RPM increments.

Went out this afternoon with Howard (rab1). Water was pretty flat and very little wind.

Howard repitched a new Solas 15/20R and the ski ran 74.1MPH GPS consistantly at 8140RPM. This was with 1-2 bars of fuel.
