    Engine Blew... Throttle Body Assy?

My engine has blown two times on my 05 GP1300, the pink wire to one of the sensors on the throttle body assembly was accedently cut, I suspect this is why the engine blew. Since the sensor doesn't come seperatley, I just ordered a new throttle body assembly - Is there anything i need to know when connecting the new sensors from the new throttle body assembly to the jet ski? or will it work as its supposed to right after i connect them? Can a malfunction of the sensor cause the pistons to blow like they did 2 times on mine?

The EFI guys will chime in any second about your question.

TBs can be found here used very reasonable if your not already commited.

A factory throttle body should come ready to go...

A broken wire will usually set a light and code, and definately would have has running issues.

besides the sensor, nothing is wrong with the throttle body. The sensor doesnt come seperatley so i have to buy the whole throttle body. Its right after the wire was cut that it started giving this problem.

If the TPS isn't sending correct readings to the CDI the fuel curves are going to be all out of wack. You could be WOT and the injectors might only be at 1/2 or 1/4. At least thats how I see it.
