    MPEM Question

Hi there I just bought a 98 GSX limited. The MPEM starts and runs the ski, but the electronic guages dont work. The guy gave me another MPEM and tether cord said when he plugged it in the guages worked but engine would not fire. He said he thought it needed to be recalibrated by a Sea Doo auth dealer and it should work. Can anyone tell me more info on this. I dont know, but I would think if you have the tether that goes with the MPEM that it should work fine.

I wouldn't take the guy's word for it. Check your fuses, one is for your gauges.

Thanks good to know about the fuses maybe its much more simple than I thought. What about the MPEM thing. If you have the MPEM and tether shouldnt it work without having to be flashed?
