    Question 2008 Sea-Doo Learning Key's

Acording to the spec's on the new 2008 RXP-X you can have a LK-1 and LK-2. LK-1 is 35 mph limited and LK-2 is 50 mph limited.

My question; Do both LK-1, LK-2 and Normal DESS keys come with the ski or do you get a normal DESS and choose which way you want your single learning key to be programed when you buy the ski?

I just got one learning key. I don't know which one because I never touch the thing.

I am thinking of getting my learning key reprogrammed to the normal one so I will have a spare.

is the learning key a bad idea for the skis? Just makes you think or is there really no reprocutions for using it?

The dealer has to hook your ski up to a computer to activate the lanyards. I believe that the LK-1 or Lk-2 is set at that time.

Thats about what I was thinking. Thanks for the confirmation.
I'll have them set mine as LK-2 for my 14 year old to use.
