whats up everyone. i am a new member to Green Hulk and new to the waverunners thing. i just recently aquired 3 of them and 2 dont have engines.
1st- 1994 polaris sl 750 runs great and everything works perfect. that came with a 1998 single place trailer.
2nd- 1996 polaris slt 700. needs an engine. this is going to be my project. ive been trying to find people who have done engine swaps in these and what will fit.
3rd- 1994 polaris sl 750. no engine. this is just goint ro be for parts or sale. not sure yet.
i know you wanna know how much. i traded a 1991 honda 250x for the 94 that runs and the same guy gave me the other 2.
ive also never worked on a waverunner. ive heard it is not hard but i just never had one till now. any advice on the 96 would be appreciated.

Hi boost, I'd also like to WELCOME you to the Green Hulk Forums!!
There isn't anything you can't do IF you want to learn or experiment with it. Some stuff is better left to the pro's but for the most part it's just plain fun.
Let us know what we can do for you and don't forget the photo's.

How much of an upgrade are you interested in doing?
beerdart did an interesting upgrade using a Fuji Pro785 engine
There is quite a bit of room in your SLT hull (which originally held a domestic twin cylinder Polaris engine). How fast would you like to go?
BTW, Waverunner is a Yamaha name, Polaris just uses letters and numbers. Jetski is sometimes used as generic name, but it originally was a particular brand name too.

Welcome to the Green Hulk Notenough. You found the right place for your new toys.
I think the sl700 would be a perfect boat for a pro 785.
opps. I just noticed that your 700 is an slt. You will need to cut some fiberglass to fit the 785's pipes.
But someone around here said "you can always repair fiberglass, but performance is priceless".
