    intake grate

i recently had a wing brake off my riva grate
that was replaced under warrenty and i bought an R&D grate as well
i am going to fit the R&D grate first
but i noticed that it has clean up grind marks all over it but it is not even
should i clean it up so it is even on both sides or leave it as is
the riva plate looks much beter but it's time to try the R&D

It wouldn't hurt to clean it up a bit, just don't take too much material off. You don't want to weaken the structural integrity.
