    Exclamation Rpm Loss ???

I lost about 200 RPM's over the last three weeks. Today was the first I had the ski out in about three weeks and am in florida. This time of year the water is warming up pretty quickly. Last time I was out water temp was about 67 taoday it was about 72-73. Could that be the problem??
Should I screw in my highs a little??

    200 rpms is huge !

IMO that little temperature difference wouldnt equal 200 rpms.

Do all the basic checks... pvs opening, compression, spark plugs, prop for damage.

Quick question, what Tach are you using and how is it set-up? What speeds did you see on GPS?

Like WFO said, 200 is a lot!!! These boats have inherant flaws with the PV system and need to be checked regularly.

Check to see if the PV motor is even working by starting the boat then shutting off. The valves should do a cleaning cycle shortly after motor stops.

    Hey bill,
I am using a tiny tach but know GPS YET...I was talking with onother forum member (TCR) and he pointed out a few things and I think we hit the nail on the head. First I had my pv cables to tight, second they were not opening all the way (my fault). I am going to take it out tomorrow and at 6,000 RPM manually open the power valves. I will also mark the valves to see where I am at. I would like to thank all of you guys for continuing to help me...You have saved me a lot of time and money.
