    HHHMMM prop with smaller hub????

OK I need some help got this prop "skat trak" 14/19
i know, sounds tall but being a outboard guy i like having 3 props to test with --(the 1 i think i need,1 higher,1 lower)
BUT it has a MUCH smaller hub, fits the wear ring perfect tho
was there any props that just hovered over the stator hub and not around it like stock props???
i am so lost on this not a polaris prop?i need a spacer/washers to shim it ??????
THANKS GUYS in the pics the left is the NEW 14/19 and right is stock 12/17

There are 2 kinds of hubs a small one (slim line) and a fat one (chubby). A slim line helps improve take off, a chubby helps improve top end.

I ran across one like that,But the smaller hub would rub something without shimming if I remember right. I think there was a thread on it,Maybe rodney stated it?

No idea. I've never seen such a small hub before. That was a 12/17 I got off Gorilla, then had it refurbished.

I seem to recall a story about some props showing up on eBay that turned out to be 'factory rejects', because the hub was the wrong size. Was it Skat Trak...?

I bought a prop like that from ebay and used it for many hours on my pro. Prolly put 50ish hours on it.

I bought a Solas prop on E-Bay with a hub that was about1/8 inch ssmaller on each side(total 1/4) Your impeller looks smaller than that. Looks about as small as the hub from a 146mm pump, are you sure it fits the wear ring tight?
I can mearuse the 146mm hub tommorrow.
