i saw on tv that this really didnt get any better gas millage then a cobalt or civic. its only real advantage is its ability to park in a city.

but kind makes me wonder if we sorta hit the max gas millage were gona get with a conventional gas engine.

I bet we can get more millage but who does that hurt in the long run, and the environment is at the bottom of the list.

EPA 2008 says 33/41 for mileage for the smart car, but at $12k-17k seem a little much.

I feared for my life when I was taking this "toy" for a drive. Worried about getting hit and if I would survive. But parking was EASY..

Boston Globe had an article a little while back... Your chance of dying in a small car ie civic, cobalt, were twice as high vs a larger vehicle. Of course, with that being said, the motor cycle industry has exploded in recent years, so i hardly doubt that would stop most people from purchasing one...

IMO, why do these new small cars have to be so damn cutesy? Why cant they make something a little more aggresive that isnt so george jetson.

If they made something cheap, semi normal looking i would consider it for a commuter vehicle.

I was expecting the white cloth or the black bag. Would be a great get around the city car.
