    whats better

    riva valve train or rotax shim's. or what would you use for high rpm's like 8600 plus

    I vote the same, since the Rotax ones are aluminum and can be eaten buy the steel springs. Riva's are titanium.

    The Riva is a more complete and "proper" kit IMO.

    Take it to a local head guy who will check each spring, check the install height of the stems and shim the springs to increase rebound 5-10%. If you get lightened valves (weaker) you don't need any shims, just make sure the springs you have are good ones.

    He'll charge you less than $200 bucks. If you buy the kit, you'll never know if you have a weak spring or two and install the kit and still go clatter-clatter.
