fuel rail threads
What size are the threads on the fuel rail? metric or standard?

Funny cause glenn at R&D told me they are a metric wanna-be thread pattern. They are not actually metric, but they are close. I had a hell of a time removing the allen cap set screw(or plug) because of the loc-tite and actually broke the fuel rail trying to removing it. I did everything possible including boiling water, torch heat and wd-40. I bought another and had no problem getting the new one out. I have an extra brand new fuel rail if anyone needs it. Please let me know cause I'd like to get rid of it.

For the R&D fuel regulator setup, the set screw on the end of the fuel rail is removed and replaced with an adaptor for an AN style fitting. This AN fitting meets with a short fuel line that heads over to the regulator. The set screw is some sort of tapered NPT metric thread. Tight thread count so when you pull it out, it looks a little strange. Glenn said they had a fun time trying to match the thread pattern and size for their AN adaptor.
