sea or lake ride
Just wondering how many here are using their ultras in salty water (sea) I guess the majority are riding and using it in open sea rough condition so what will make a difference in term of the your ski life/engine/performance. here in Dubai or Abu Dhabi no choices only sea salty water mostly rough condition i wish if i could try it in lake

The Ultra is the worst ski I have ever seen regarding water tightness. I have tried everything to keep the water out and have been only mildly successful. I wanted to use this ski for surf towing but it can't hack it.

Did you know that the 07's seat flexes? That breaks the seal and
lets water in. You can tighten up the holding bolt, it helps.
The 08's have some added plastic ribs to stiffen seat.
