    water sports

Has anyone been out wakeboarding or water skiing in 50 degree water temps yet this year? If so how was it? I just got into wakeboarding last year and a friend and me are planning on going out on the water sometime this week and kind of want to know what its gonna be like with a wet suit on.

It will be very cold. I have done early season ridding (not this year yet) but even 60 degree water is cold. I don't like to walk in the water for loading/unloading the ski (when its really cold). I would hate to get in the water to wake board. I would look into a dry suit if you want to extend your watersport season.

During the early season its just me and the fishermen out on the water. A few park walkers ask me if i'm nuts. Althought when i tell them the water is 60 degrees they say, Thats not to bad. I don't think they know what 60 water feels like.

If you want to test run what the water will feel like. Fill the bath tub full of water. Let the tub sit over night. Now get in. That will should be about 68-72 (room temp). or if you have a thermometer that will read low temps like 50-60 adjust the tub water to the temp you want.
