putting the plates and grate back together....

I have removed the intake grate, pump plate (including inserts), ride plate (including inserts), and jetpump (for impeller change)... what order should i put it back together (ride plate then pump plate or what?)... also what is the best way to get the inserts set in place (i assume i need some 5200 underneath to seal it to the hull) i am doing this alone (on vacation )... thanks in advance
    chris

Yea, i have that, i was wondering about positioning of the new inserts and getting the pump shoe in the right spot and which order to go go in... i am assuming set the pump shoe without sealing it to get the new inserts set, wait for the caulk to sure then sealing the pump...

I would probably do the shoe first. Like you said, mock it up first (usually the stock inserts drop right into the existing holes). 5200 the brackets and let them set-up. Then remove the shoe and seal it. Same with the ride plate brackets.

It wasn't clear in the PDF so I thought I'd ask.

Did Fercho glue the stock inserts with the 5200 as well as gooping it all over the mating surfaces?
