Another 4" Intake- 2007 Sportster SCIC

Just thought I would share the crappy weather and intake!
Well there is a foot of snow on the ground, the Sportster is in storage, so I thought I would dig out the new air intake and see what it would look like. The corrugated hose that goes in the end of the filter will also go down to the existing intake so I can leave that as is. Would have prefered red but blue isn't bad. All I have to do is get the boat out of storage, yank the SC and get the washers changed. Wait for warm weather to melt the 12+ inches of ice and away we go. Think Spring!!!

If you built or put that filter in a box (I'm thinking of sorta like a folger's plastic coffee container) then did away with that 3" flex tube for a 4" flex tube instead....it would breath even easier.

    I probably wasn't clear...

4" flex tube going into the top of a plastic coffee container, the filter inside the container and attached through the bottom of the container to the 4"x3" reducer.

You'd be able to use the entire filter...not just the small 3" dia cone in the center.
