    x charger or stage 3 ???

Narrowed it down to one of these two superchargers. Need some opinions and advise. Mods that i am thinking about getting are xs intercooler, riva grate, rrfpr, 15/20 maybe 15/22? prop, rr thermostat, free flow exhaust, diy 4" intake, front engine mount, gh water box later on. Anything I am missing, I really like the idea of the x charger all ready to go, complete with washers/bearings, but don't have any real concrete evidence as how it will perform on my 04 rxp.

I was planning to go with the S3 supercharger but I am waiting to see what Riva comes out for the X-series supercharger.

Well it depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

The S3 is about a $1000 but puts out less power than the X charge which is available from Jerry at $1500.

Sounds like good setup. If you do not have opas block offs then you definitly will want them at the speeds you will be going. They say the RE,s are the best, I have the Riva Pro and can,t imagine running without them. If you have block offs then disregard all i said.

In regards to chargers both seem to be very tight in performance in my opinion. I was very happy with my S3 I was running close to 77 mph at 2,600 ft. The X sc seems to have similar or more boost. I wish I had a gauge on the X. I believe that the X SC flows more air.

Good Luck with your mods and i know you will be happy either way you go.

    The S3 goes for $800 http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=366

    X-series goes for under $1,100 http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=773

Rude goes from $1,500 to $2,000 depending on if a core is supplied.

    With Core $1,500 http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=802

    Without Core $2,000 http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=454

Appears you might have your chargers mixed up, but any of the above chargers will do just fine

We are still waiting to hear results for the X-SC on a 215 rxp. I figured we would have it by now.

I would get the thru hull exhaust over the free flow.

I hear ya. I would have hoped to hear something. About to push the button on a S3 wheel/housing.

I think I'll have an X charger on my RXT by summer. What impeller should I use, I already have a RR intercooler and a Stage 1 kit (with the GH box). I'm getting the 42lbs injectors, will this work fine?

I am leaning towards stage 3 as well with ceramic bearings. What kind of speeds are you running?
