how many hours on the motor? I have seen some take a little to get the rings seated. check your compression and oil level. if all seems good. bring your timing back to stock setting just to see if that is whats doing it.

Bill, which cam? Whats your compression?
With Rotax Racing cam you want it slightly advanced and right at 135 psi compression.

With stock cam you want it slightly retarded and 145 psi compression.

When I got my Rotax Racing ECU I was adviced to adjust the timing all the way to one side (don't remember wich )... I hope thats correct ??

I got two of my friends getting there rxp this week... Should I adjust their timing to 145psi then?
