    Rxpx fuel economy

    Hello guys,
Just wondering a few things, firstly the people out there with an rxpx what sort of fuel economy do you get? I will be riding mine in the sea and where i am at it is usually reasonably calm, some small waves... How long should i expect the 60 litre tank to last? mostly ride with a mix of flatout riding, some towing and general dicking around. Input from guys with rxps would be helpful to.
Also is it possible to wakeboard or ski behind the rxpx or are the hitching points just too low?
    thanks a lot

Rode my RXP-X with an RXT the other day and when I was empty the RXT was just under 1/2 tank. I was running alot harder but we covered the same distance.

    mpg?

This is interesting......... On the GPS my 04 RXP (215) could get 85 miles per tank of fuel. On my 07 RXT (215) I get about 80 miles per tank. I'll be picking up a new RXTX very soon and would like some concrete numbers as for MPG. We take mini trips most weekends and fuel mileage is important to me due to lack of gas stops on the river. I hope MPG on the 255 is close to the 215!!!

I can believe this. I have been testing the X and the rxp and i think the X is thirstier than the moded rxp.

My findings exactly. I filled up both my 215 and 255 for a ride last weekend. When the 255 hit the low fuel buzzer, the 215 still had 3 bars showing on the gas gauge.

the 255 model last approx 30 min @ WOT compared to the 215's which last approx 50 min @ WOT
    the 255's are very thirsty

if you are worried about gas consumption DON'T GET THE RXPX. It would be compareable from mustang to a ferrari. Gotta pay to play boys.
