    OPAS

The OPAS system helps steer the ski at idle and low speeds. When going fast (whatever you consider that to be) they create drag. I really wouldn't bother blocking them off unless you buy the RE or Riva Pro block-offs. The cheapo ones will make the ski bounce around at high speeds (so I hear).

If your modifying your ski, block them suckers off

With my experience either leave the opas and block them up, or remove and install pro block offs or RE block off,s.
I removed my opas on a GTX and just put the covers and i did not like the way it rode and turned. I plan to leave the opas on my T-X.
On my rxp i had bad porposing once i started moding my ski with opas. After installing the Pro block off,s the ski has no porposing at all. If you are going to run 75+ then i would definitely have either pro block offs or RE block offs. If you have a 3 seater with minor mods then keep the opas and block them up.

The T they may drag but can be blocked up.... The P they are out of the water at speed. If you wish you can grind off 1/4 of an in. off the bottom so they can't drag.

Bounce is usually the intake grate scoop not being far enough in front.... waht works at 72 may or may not work at 76mph. You have to be brave enough to think out'a the box.

For example at 75-6 the X starts getting a little bounce, the hull is coming out of tune or it's design parameters and the faster you go the worse it gets. The handling of the ski is a balancing act.

I'm planning on modding past 75+ eventually so I have the RE's. They sure do make the lines of the ski look good.

Who sells the clips to block them in the up position or can you make some yourself?
