anything wrong with a 3" or 4" exhaust/waterbox?

alex, heres a place that sells a 3" tip:
not sure what performance gains can be had from a 3" exhaust. on cars, the exhuast pipe usually gets smaller in dia the further back on the car you go. this helps keep up the velocity of the cooling exhaust gases. so if go 3" you might just be making noise, with a 4" you might actually get to a point of diminishing returns..

I know cars are prolly diff then skis on the exhaust part....but on turbo cars like mine we run 3 inch exhaust for less back pressure and on all motor cars we run 2 inch exhaust for more back pressure
not sure what it comes down to on skis
