    That is some great reading! I know what I'm doing for the next couple of evenings....

    EDIT: Um, do you know the date of publication? I've only read into the Cylinder Head section, and already I'm seeing numbers that are on the conservative side.

    I don't know what edition this is , but second edition was published in 99.
    I just found this while searching for porting info when I was playing w/ my cylinders.

    some of his spec. are behind the time's but still applies

    Just started on it yesterday. What I really find interesting is the first section on the blue printing,How far off some engines are factory. Most every auto Race engine I've built I've blueprinted.Never really gave it much of a second thought on skis except Port matching.
