R&D auto drop nozzles - Whats the difference?

Does anyone know what the difference between the R&D GP1200 Autotrim Nozzle (Pt. # 162-12001) and the GP1300 (Part # 162-13000) one? I can't seem to find any specs on them. Or which one would be the best one to fit to an XL with a 1300 engine.

P.S. I tried emailing R&D for more info, but didn't get any reply.

1300, works with the stock trim (vts) and is designed to take the 2" extension into account.

Newer one does allow the use of the VTS to a point but don't think there is any difference with the 2 inch extension, mounting is the same and have had on both.

Thanks for that. I was thinking it was an older model that didn't allow you to use your vts. And from the pics they seem different lengths...

I don't suppose u know if there's any problems with mounting the 1300 on a ski without the 2" extention? (gp1200 or an XL)

As long as you use the correct cables for the correct extension or lack there of I don't see any issues.

Does not matter if your ski has an extension. The only problem you will have is if you have extensions for the cables to run the 2" extension.
