    72.5 mph at 7200 RPM ?

Its an 03 GP 1300. Does this sound right ? What should our ideal RPM be at?

    7150 - 7200rpms is about right.

    What impeller are you running?

According to what? A GPS? If so, the rpm sounds about right.

I bet the 14/20 was stock pitch. This sounds good. I bet with some more tuning on this ski and a little bit of a tweek on the impeller you could see 75. I was able to get 73 mph with out the head. I was also at 400-500 feet above sealevel.

Thats about right. RPMs may be a little high for that speed but not much. Check your wear ring.

I think that it should be going 75 with those mods.. Maybe some tweaking under the boat is needed, and dont forget to fill the pump shoe and plate bolt holes with epoxy
