Need help with my GP1200!
Hello everyone! I am new to this site and I have an issue that needs some help. I dropped my GP1200 off the trailer when my whench strap latch broke. My Ski hit the deck and was dragged about 10 Feet. It did not crack the hull but wore off some plates on the bottom. Now my ski just jump up and up like a dolphin and can not get on a good plane. I did some reseach and wanted to know if I was on the right track to finding out what part was worn off.
http://220.127.116.11/yamaha_OEM/Yam...e=13&A=55&B=24 is the parts. Part # 33 and Part # 34, the reason that I feel that is it, because I can see the 4 clip on the bottom of the GP1200.
This link states that it is a (PLATE/STEP 1) and (PLATE/ STEP2), I also have a GP760 and that ski does not have that part on the bottom of the hull.
I would like to Thank you for your time..I hope to be able take my waverrunners to the KEYS at the end of April.. Please help I dont want to take to the shop if I can do it my self..

Get some pics so we can see the damage. You migh want to hold off on the stock parts. You migh be able to find some used aftermarket parts through some guys on GH. It will save you money and also give you better performance.
