Does anyone know the OD of the old school engine coupler? What about thread info on the pump and engine side?
I'm too lazy to pull mine apart

I have mine apart i can check just give me a day or so cause working too much. But i have some aftermarket bilit couplers. but shold hava a stick one laying around.

The crankshaft side is the same as the 66V motor this I know, my fluid dampner fit either my 65U or 66V. The thread to the Intermediate shaft is also the same on the older GP's and 02 and up model GPR's . I can get some info for you later as well. OD of the dampner is 105mm

Thanks Bill. That's what I needed to know. It appears that the OD of the 63m and 66v couplers is the same. I was hoping that the 63M was smaller.. . Oh well.

ok, i found out that r&d makes a coupler that is for Yamaha's, but is the size of, and uses the kawi damper. problem is that I need to know the OD before I drop the bux. I called r&D and the mother effer that answered the phone said how the hell should I know?
so, anyone know the OD of the coupler or better yet, have one to sell me?

FYI, stock yamaha coupler is 105mm
billet yamaha coupler with Kawi damper is 85mm.
