    one question, why get the ski out of the water that high with the 2 people

    Because you can. I can do it with just the trim and my heavy self on a 96 XP. If you have balance and a talented throttle hand you cand stand it vertical and recover without taking a bath. I suppose that it takes two to get the weight in the right area to do it with modern musclecraft.

    Welcome to the boards... The spitfire can stand on its end and clear the water by a foot or so. 1000 pound craft.....I love it.

    1000lbs for the Spitfire? I wouldn't have pegged it over 800, did you make the motor mounts out of lead?

    Its 900 and some change actually...The mounts are made from st/st stock. Bullet proof. 60 hrs of hard riding and no failure..says a lot for marks design.
