Your Core needs to be able to take 160psi
If any of the lines get blocked after the Intercooler the Pump at WOT can produce 160psi....

    Normal running is approx 60

I hooked up a pressure guage to my water-out connection on the ic and consistantly got 25-30 lbs of water pressure out of the ic. Some one on the site posted that 30 lbs was normal.

Larry, have you tested the pressure with a modified restrictor yet?

When I saw this thread, my first thought was 'Why?' With intercooler choices ranging from $80 to $1200 why build your own? The XS style intercoolers perform and hold up well and are only $80 if its a money thing ... so why would you want to build your own?
