    More HP please !

    I am currentley running a RXP-X hull with 04 RXP motor, C-Kit, 4' intake, Riva ECU, Riva IC - The ski runs very well, (just won NZ champs beating Sam Harvey & James Bushell) but I want to go to the next level, in preperation for the World Finals. I am going to stay with the C-Kit, what can anyone tell me about the Rotax Racing ECU (In particluar Rev limit for a 04) and the Roatx Racing Cam.

    I was at the nats and holding for other skis in the races that your ski was running. So I have seen first hand how fast you got that X ski going.

    3 days of racing and finshed every race. Has to be one of the fastest X skis in the world!

    The 04 Rotax Racing ECU has a 8650 rev limit. You will want to run it at 8500 because when you approach the limiter it cuts fuel and you go lean.

    The Rotax Racing cam is awesome. I run it in my ski. Lots more power from 7000 RPM's and above.

    Just how fast is your X hull now? I know others have seen dangerous overstuff issues at 77 mph. Have you achieved these speeds yet with no overstuff issues?

    He told me at the nats that he was using a stock 215 rxp grate moded to fit the X.

    The nationals certainly showed that the s/c launches good and gets away quick but we were just a little slow up top and kept getting caught up at the end of the start straight thats why Brads after some more revs/hp to get to the first turn quicker the boat with him riding was more than fast enough around the track and reliabilty was a big help with placings in every race.

    Jerry Brad posted a while back about over stuffing after going over the bars, The nationals was rough water and we ran an rxp grate closed down at the back and it gave good hookup and speed.
