    beach house sponsons? HELP!!

    so i got theses beautiful beach house sponsons was about to take the wifes ski out this weekend but as i was putting them on i realised the stock bolts wont work. the head on the screw sticks out so that the sponson blade wouldnt sit flush to it...?? anyone use these sponsons or know what type of screw i should be using thanks a lot!!

    ps hallpass would of pm'd u but your in schol studying lol.. and im ancious for an answer.. lol... comment when u get out of school lol thanks

    um..you can counter sink the screw/bolt heads.

    I had to do this with the stock speedo sender on my rideplate

    as in weekend the plastic by making it even thinner?? not sure thats a good idea with all the pressure and stuff... if it was mm too long thats one thing but the stock bolts stick WAY out... good idea though thanks

    yea sure no problem but let me explain quick... so there is a big hex screw ( from stock sponsons) that bolt the main piece to the hull.... i screw all three bolts in tight. the head of the bolt sticks out past what is countersunk so that when u put the paddle up to the block it cant sit flush cause of this big bolt.. so i guess i need like a pan head bolt with the same dimensions or something...

    Take the OEM bolt, go to the hardware store, and match up a button-head bolt...the low-profile head will give you your clearance....

    lol. im priting the picture now.. sweet! thanks danny button head metric stainless steel.. thats all i need to know right.. i hate getting there and they ask me all these technical questions and i look retarded! lol. thanks man!!!
