Going with a Rude SC... What other changes needed?
Hey guys, I have decided that I want to put a Rude SC in my 07 RXP. Right now it is completly stock. I want to keep the ski reliable as it is ridden every weekend during the summer months.
If I put in a Rude what other mods do I need to install to keep everything safe and to maximize performance from the Rude?
Here is what I was thinking:
Riva Valve Train upgrade kit
Skat 3 Blade prop (I am looking for acceleration not top speed)
Anything I am missing here guys? Any help would be apprciated.

I would definitely look at putting some riva pro block off,s or RE block off,s. You will need them at the speeds you will be going to keep ski from porposing.
I would also go with some sort of 4 inch air intake (preferbably rear air) as your rude needs all the air it can get.
You might want to look at upgrading your exhaust system.

For the Exhaust... can I just have the stock WB upgraded or would it be better to upgrade to a GH?
I actually have a set of RE block off's that I bought from Jerry last year but have not installed them. I ride in surf along with lake riding... I dont think I want to go with rear air. So I guess the riva front intake or a custom 4" air intake.
Thanks for the info so far

Thanks GH... yeah I went and added that to my list... actually added a bunch of other things. Also thank you top banana for the water box suggustion.
Here is the new list:
Riva Rear Exhaust Kit
Rude Charger Conversion
Ride Plate Skegs
Riva Intake Grate
RXP Reduction Nozzle
SS Wear Ring
RR Front Engine Mount
Riva Pro Series ECU
Riva Pro Series Fuel Injector Kit (50lb)
Valve Train Upgrade kit
Valve Train Upgrade tool
RR 158 Degree Thermostat
Skat 3blade prop
Groco Intercooler Strainer
Custom 4" Front Intake
Riva Pro Series Intercooler
GH Stock Intercooler Block Off
If I go with the items listed above will I need anything else to complete the assembly and install? Basically I want the list to be 100% complete so when i put my order in I dont need to worry about anything being missing.
Do I need a new gasket for the engine after I install the Valve train kit?

The only changes i would make to your list to help save you some money is get the Piranha engine mount instead of the RR. It's a little cheaper and does the same thing.
Also, i have the 50# injectors in the store for $200 (same as Riva injectors)
Looks like you have a very complete list of parts. No gaskets needed when doing the valve train upgrade.
Also, i will loan you my valve train tool so no need to buy one.

I would have gone with the GH box over the riva exhaust kit, better sound but it's your ski. Things gunna be a beast!
