    wear ring and prop question

hey guys.. The end of last season i had a chunk of wood stuck between my wear ring and prop. i think there might be a slight grove in the ring..Do i change the ring? fill the groove? The ski picked up a little rpm after the incident im sure its not faster just letting the water through easier prob...While im in there should i go with a different prop?? which one?? Im stock right now thanks for the help

Replace the ring. Inspect prop for damage.

You didn't specify which one of your skis had the problem, but a stock RXP sees great results with the Solas Concord 14/19r, and for a stock RXT, the prop to go with seeems to be the 14/17. You can also flip your wear ring around, and it'll be good as new.

i just had the same thing happen ridin' last week, pulled pump, inspected wear ring and prop, no damage to prop and slight groove in wear ring... air and water temp. were right around 45-50 and it usually will run 8100 but was runnin at 8120 a few times... should the wear ring be replaced or will it be ok?
