whats the advantage of removing the opas???? handling? speed? will it affect the rxp-x dramatically?? what are the best block offs. do the race engineered block offs perform better???

Off Power Assisted Steering I believe is what it stands for. Basically when you are idling around the dock or at low speeds they help to keep your boat straight. The problem is at higher speeds they cause drag. They help handling at higher speeds and if you decide to block them off....Race Engineering is the way to go!

Hi, i read on here somware that the p'x rides beter with the opas left on, this maybe just 1 persons opinion and i mite be corrected. The race engineered block offs are ment to be the best but are not legal in some classes of racing if u intend competing atal. You may pick up a little top speed with out them, and im sure others will chime in with there opinions on weather or not it handles better.

I found the machine handles much better, especially in chop. With the OPAS on the RXP often jerks and such, as the opas "catches" or hooks with the waves. (Hope that makes sense). With the OPAS removed, this is eliminated and it just seems like smoother ride. This is what I noticed with the RE Blok Offs
