    Question Turning supercharger by hand

Hi all, could any of you tell me if it is right that i can turn my supercharger by hand. I had the intake off today and wanted to check if it was moving. It is not spinning freely but i can just about turn it with my fingers. I would rather have it looked at if it is not right than have a failure. Just to confirm it is not spinning easily but i can turn it. I thought that the clutch would be tighter than this??

    Any Help thanks
    R8

could be your washers...were they OEM? If they were ceramic and they disintegrated than you could have some major problems. That's the only thing I know of that causes it to spin freely. I am no expert and maybe someone else knows of possible problems.

If you dont already have steel washers--now is the time. Send your SC to Jerry and have him install the washers and set the slip monemt. If you already have steel washers--send it to him anyway. The slip moment needs to be set and your might need new spacers.

The clutch went wen the last owner had it, he had it fixed on the warrenty at a local dealer. Im not sure if it has metal or ceramic washers. It will have metal 1s soon tho. i cant end it to jerry coz im in the UK. so i will have to have it done at my dealer. It was brought from this dealer from new so he knows my ski. He said that the last owner had maintained it regardless of cost.
