Speedo sensor block-off
ok..i've tried the search but nothing i put in worked this mod doesn't really seem too popular but if anyone has tried this mod on their gpr can you chime in and let me know if you notice any difference in speed or handling plz...thanks.

I would think it just to small of an Item to give any gains.

I doubt that the speedo sensor is robbing you speed. I don't think it's draging the hull unless you got one made from concrete.

I put the Riva one in and noticed a little straighter tracking over 80. It did have to be shimmed to get it at the right height. Didn't notice any speed gain.

The one thing I noticed in this area is the screws that hold in speedo set high, especially on the aftermarket plates. I always countersink them deeper to eliminate any possibility of drag. This applies to the riva block off to.
