    rxp pump on a gpr

i know i dont belong in this section, but i have to fill all 2 stroke gent's in as well.

i am a proud owner of a 01 gprxp with a rxp pump NOT A HO PUMP. well it has been nothing but good to me. i have around 235 hp and am pushing 85 on 2 gps runs in choppy water with wind.

going to leo's this weekend to test it out and will let all of you know the good and bad. right now it has a helasiuos bottom end with MONSTER ACCELERATION. here is a video of how well it works.

my goal obiously is bigger is better 155 vs 159
    no buck at any speed
    monster acceleration
    monster holeshot
    better top end.

A WISEMAN ONCE TOLD ME "THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT"

WE SHALL SEE. ENJOY THE VIDEO. I WELCOME ALL COMENTS. IT'S LATE GOING TO BED HAVE A VERY BUSY DAY TOMMOROW. WILL BE GONE ALL WEEKEND. LEO WILL POST ALL RESULTS WHEN I AM ON MY WAY HOME. 20 HOUR DRIVE I HAVE....

go to 1 minute 10 seconds in for Shibby's explanation of why the first runs shouldn't count. Go to 2 minutes 10 seconds for the most accurate and fair tests of that day.

Makes sense to me, bigger pump processes more water, also relieves some pump tunnel pressure, stopping any buck.. I have a feeling this is gonna be big...

thight work!! as long as its a win win situation im down to do this mod also,
ive thought about this before but with the gpr pump, cant you just bore out the gpr wear ring to like 159-160mm and add and machine material to the prop to fit properly in the larger wear ring and expect similar results?

I agree. Leo's tripple already launches like a pro level SS, in fact I would be supprised to see any conversion beat it out of the hole!! Its going to take a stats chart to see a real difference.
