    crank? bearing? rod? wristpin?

last year while riding my gp1200r it seized in the middle of the lake, i restarted it and it made some really loud banging.. i got back to the trailer loaded it up and took it home. pulled the head and found that all three pistons and cylinders were in pristine condition. the powervalves were fine, and when i turn it over without the head on there is no noise at all.. there seems to be play between cylinder 1,2,3 if i push on them by hand but there is no binding no noise .. did the crank twist ? did i loose a bearing. i havent pulled it appart yet havent had the time. would like to have the right parts before i tear into it, so it dosent sit on a work bench forever

    thanks
    Brandon

    play

its up and down, if you push on piston 1a and 2 or 2 and 3 rotating the motor my pushing on them there is play. almost like a wrist pin is missing . and when you turn it over with the starter it looks fine. once you apply pressure ie head and plugs there is noise. pull the plugs the noise is gone

Time to pull that thing apart. The only way to figure out what is truely wrong is to get the motor apart.
