    FX12 3 seater

My buddy has a FX12 3 seater he is looking for minor mods to get a bit of performance out of it. WIthout getting into the motor what is there reasonably priced worth doing on a Honda? So far I have read about..

    1. Filling in bolt holes in grate .5 MPH Is it worth it?
    2. Pump wedge We ride mostly on lakes very little ocean so is it a good idea
    3. New impeller He rides 2 up often so what impeller would be a good choice for minimal low end lose and maybe a MPH or 2 on top?

All in all he understands you can spend alot of money to get 5 MPH. He is just looking to get what he can for decent price say under 750 bucks or around there

I also have a friend with a F12x, 2004. He is interested in a rideplate for a bit more top speed. We ride in moderate to rough salt water in Tampa.
Which plate are you guys running?

Hey Red, Nobody has really come out with a mass produced rideplate for the F12-X, most out there are modded stock ones that Jim (Jims Performance) or Nitro (Shawn) have played around with to see if they can get anymore outta them.

Modifying the ride plate will make it ride much better, but not faster. The difference in ride, especially in rough water is worth it.

Thanks guys. It seems liek there are so many more modas out there for other brands. Are they just a little more expensive for Honda's or just not much out there yet?

    Another question
Are there any gains from adding power trim to this ski I heard the R 12 has power trim and you can add it.

The people who have tried a trim system on the F said it was not worthwhile.
