    SeaDoo RXT X Recall

My dealer just called today and says there is a recall on my RXT X that I just picked up a week ago. He says the guys at the plant got happy with the grease on the supercharger and exhaust hose before installation.
They have to replace the hoses and clamps. I told him I could do it but nope it has to be documented. Man I can't win. He told me only a hour.

So how long would it take them to fix it? If they don't have the material in stock then there is no need let the ski just sit waiting for parts.

Do you know if this is for all, or just a designated set of serial numbers?

I'm sorry for you, but it's comforting to know (because I haven't went 4 stroke yet) quality control @ BRP hasn't changed...

No big deal. I believe the hoses are coming off which says you will have a flooded hull if the exhaust hose pops off. Dealer told me they got happy with the grease when installing the some of the hoses. The dealer has to perform the work for warranty and record reasons.

why would they even apply grease for installation of these hoses.
That is just asking for problems.
