    Styrofoam Removal

Alright what is the trick to geting the styrofoam out of the back of my 98GP 1200? The exhaust side. I need to do the rideplate fix and I am running into a problem with this crap.
    thanks
    Joe

I just kept pulling and pulling and it finally came out. if it does break you can glue it back together with that foam in a can(tough stuff). I think I am goijg to remove all the foam except that piece under the waterbox. But I also heard that the foam helps with rigidity and suport.

take a hack saw blade grab on to it with a pair of vice grips
heat it up with torch and it will cut foam like butter, that way you can break down to smaller pieces

    later cd

Thanks for all the advice. I became a little irittated last night so I just took a long bread knife and cut the protrusion next to the tunnel off. I think about 2-3"'s from the tunnel over. It looked like it wanted to be cut off HE HE HE.
