    08 Supercharger Service Clocks

Just To Let Anyone Who's Interested Know, On All The Super Charged Modles This Year, Brp Has Added A New Service Clock For The Supercharger. It Is Set To Go Off At About 100 Hours, But Depending On Riding Style Can Go Off As Early As 80 Hours. At That Time A Service Supercharger Message Will Be On Display And You Have 5 Hours To Bring It To A Dealer For A Complete S.c. Rebuild, If It Is Not Done, It Will Void Your Warranty. There Is A New Resetable Clock For The S.c. Under The Service Timer Clock In B.u.d.s. Looks Like Brp Is Finally Getting Smarter. I Guess They Got Tired Of Paying For All The Rebuilds. Atleast Their Titanium Washers Now, Atleast On The Pwc's.

    Holy shit

You mean that although I have four years of BRP warranty I have to have the dealership rebuild the SC every 100 or LESS HOURS !!! DO you realize how much that will cost!!!!!!!!!

That 100 hours is what BRP has in the book for older skis too isnt it? But no alarm saying "take me in!"

brp only called for slip tests on previous years. but up till now, emissions warranty covered failures up to 250 hours or 4 years.

So for most of us that will have our SC out to be upgraded or just sent to GH for go over, what does the computer read then, or how will that work.
Atleast, i know that my SC will visit GH atleast every winter if not sooner depending on hours and if need slipage checked.
