    Unhappy Water Spots

Just a general question, What does everyone use to get water spots off of the hull, especially the the hood cover and colored areas around it. I got my ski used and it had water spots on it when I got it. Any thing you can sugesst would be helpful.
    Thanks for everyone's time.

A good waxing works for me. But the next time you ride they will be right back on there.

One part of muratic acid to eight parts of water. One gallon of the acid costs about $2.50.

Ducky works great too. You can buy it at any boat or watercraft shop.

a 50/50 solution of water and vineger is what i use, it doesn't get them all off but makes it alot less noticable.

    windex and vinegar

I use about 40% windex, 40% vinegar and 20% water. Works like a dream.

I went to Blythe with my Brand new ski 5 years ago. The Colorado river has very hard water and the spots at the end of the day looked like they needed a chisel to get them off. My brothers friend had a beautiful old Sanger that had a perfect finish. I asked him what he used and he brought a bottle over to my ski and sprayed it on in the direct sunlight and wiped it off with a towel and it was perfect again. Just like I had waxed it.

The solution was 100% Distilled Vinegar. Do not dilute it. I have been using it ever since and it works the best by far.
