    broken bolts on the timing gear

    i have just rebuilt the engine after 5 minutes the bolts on the timing gear broke all 3 .. when fitted the numberes 1502 were both lined up..
    if any one can help to y the 3 bolts broke ...

    Did you overtighten them? They only torque to 10N.m (89 inch pounds).
    I assume you ment 5 min running time?
    Did you use thread locker on the bolts?
    When it was running for 5 min, did it sound right?

    yes 5 min running time and yes i used thread locker
