96 GSX Waterbox
I'm currently rebuilding a 96 GSX and was wondering what recommendations people had for a waterbox. I have the stock one but am looking for a little more of a throaty sound and possibly some change in lower end performance.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

the best waterboxes for performance are the stock ones. if you want to change the sound, try a tdr waterbox, but you will lose some performance.

Flame arresters and jetting will give a throaty sound as well as the bottom end performance.

a 951 DI waterbox offers a slight sound and performance gain or you can cut the end off of your waterbox a drill holes in the baffle as described in the How To section of this site for the 4-strokes, same mod and will make your waterbox the same as a DI. avoid the aftermarkets
